Departure of EA takeover chief

Electronic Arts, the world's biggest independent video games publisher, has announced the departure of a key figure in its fight to gain control of rival Take-Two, publisher of the Grand Theft Auto series of games.

EA said Warren Jenson, chief financial officer for the past six years, was leaving the company. A successor would be announced shortly.
