Asian markets rebound in volatile trading

Asian stocks rebounded on Tuesday led by the Hang Seng which reported its biggest daily gain in a 11 years a day after it in recorded its biggest daily decline in 11 years in a sign of the persistent volatility in global equity markets.

Most markets started the day in negative territory but followed Hong Kong higher after the lunchtime session as investors snapped up bargains following Monday’s heavy stock market falls.
