Designers who work with recycled materials are hardly unusual nowadays and most people would agree that the more that do so the better. But much more rare are those who are willing or able to create several different objects from the same item.

Graphic artist and teacher François Royer does just that. Using oil barrels, he has created the Stanker collection, which includes items such as chairs, tables, barbecues, shelving units and lights, priced from €300.
