Biden to press reset button in Balkans

Joseph Biden, the US vice-president, was due to arrive in the Balkans late Monday night to try to overcome Serb nationalist rejection of the region’s current borders.

Mr Biden was landing in Sarajevo at the start of a three-day trip, with stops in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo. He will meet leaders of Bosnia’s three main ethnic groups on Tuesday.
