Headquartered in a nondescript office building in a Moscow suburb, Luxoft, one of the largest software companies in Russia, looks like a university computer science department – right down to the marker boards. Workers are mainly young and dress in the ubiquitous student chic – accent on heavily distressed jeans and mammoth headphones.

Luxoft designs algorithmic trading platforms for investment banks, and cloud computing and event management software. It designed the luggage tracking system for a leading airline and an internet service for a new generation of passenger cars.
