Korean shipbuilders hit as orders are cut

Shipbuilders in South Korea are battling headwinds from the global financial crisis, that have slashed demand and prices for vessels.

South Korea is the world’s biggest shipbuilder, with Hyundai, Samsung and Daewoo controlling about 40 per cent of the global market.
