Peltz shakes a sleeping giant to revive its fortunes

A poor stock market performance and strong but neglected brands are the two ingredients that Nelson Peltz looks for when he makes his investments.

Over the past year, Mr Peltz and his associates have found plenty of both in the US and European markets, shaking corporate boardrooms at Wendy’s International, H.J. Heinz and Cadbury Schweppes, the British confectionery and soft drinks conglomerate.
