More new partners will be admitted to Ernst & Young UK this year than in any other, the “Big Four” audit and advisory firm said on Wednesday, signalling optimism about the industry outlook in spite of the impact of the credit crunch.

Although the partners are joining the UK practice, they are likely to be increasingly working internationally within the E&Y network.
