Nigerian president makes surprise cabinet reshuffle

Nigeria’s President has reshuffled key ministers including his internationally recognised finance minister, in a move that surprised diplomats.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, a feisty former World Bank economist, who as finance minister spearheaded Nigeria’s economic reform efforts over the last three years, was appointed foreign minister in Wednesday’s reshuffle.
