Intel has warned Advanced Micro Devices it could terminate a cross-licensing agreement that includes allowing its rival to make competing “x86” microprocessors.

AMD said in a regulatory filing that Intel had given it 60 days to correct alleged breaches of the 2001 patent agreement, related to its spinning off this month of its manufacturing arm.
