SIX Swiss eyes high-frequency traders

SIX Swiss Exchange must attract more members, especially high-frequency traders, to maintain the diversity of its order flows as it faces increased competition from Europe’s alternative share trading platforms, according to Christian Katz, the Swiss bourse’s chief executive.

“My interest is to get more members into the exchange, including high-frequency traders,” Mr Katz told the Financial Times at the Swiss Futures and Options conference in Switzerland.
