Cobham benefits from US Navy orders

Cobham, the aerospace and defence manufacturer, saw its order book rise £300m to £2.5bn at the end of the third quarter, boosted by new contracts from the US Navy.

The company, the world’s largest manufacturer of mid-air refuelling rigs for aircraft, said the strong order book and continuing growth underpinned its confidence in its previous outlook for the full year.
