US could do better on green issues, OECD concludes

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has called on the US to use energy more efficiently in order to safeguard its prosperity and prevent the harm associated with climate change.

US energy use came in for criticism in a 286-page OECD environmental “report card” for the US published on Tuesday, because it contrasted with that of other countries that gained more from their energy expenditure.
