Nyenrode Business Universiteit in the Netherlands is to create a Europe India Institute. The new centre will sit alongside the school’s Europe China Institute and is part of Nyenrode’s goal to place a stronger focus on emerging economies and their corporate cultures and structures.

India is expected to be the third largest economy in the world by 2040 says Bert de Groot, dean at Nyenrode. With the Netherlands already one of the largest investors in the sub-continent, “the necesssity for this type of institute is crystal clear,” he adds.
