Chinese broker set for US listing

A Chinese insurance broker is set to become the first company of its kind to list on the US stock market, underscoring the growing trend for the mainland’s privately owned companies to tap capital markets to fund expansion.

Chinainsure Services Group (CISG) – based in Guangzhou, capital of China’s fast-growing province Guangdong – is understood to have instructed Morgan Stanley to prepare a listing on Nasdaq or the New York Stock Exchange.
