N Ireland police hunt soldiers’ killers

Police in Northern Ireland on Monday were hunting the gunmen who killed two British soldiers in an attack condemned by politicians as an attempt to destroy the 1998 Good Friday peace agreement.

A caller to a Dublin newspaper, using a recognised codename, on Sunday night claimed the Real IRA was responsible for the attack.
