UBS on Thursday appointed Chi-Won Yoon as head of operations in Asia in the latest top-level management change at the struggling Swiss bank.

Mr Yoon, 50, will replace Rory Tapner, the 49-year-old Briton who has been chairman and chief executive in Asia for the past five years.
