Olan Mills, the studio photography business, has collapsed, joining the growing list of retailers to fall victim to the consumer downturn.

The company, which had 34 stores in England and Wales, many of them within baby goods retailer Mothercare stores, said on Tuesday it had stopped trading on Boxing Day and was appointing an administrator.
