M&C Saatchi chief remains upbeat

The chief of M&C Saatchi said the recession had not hit the advertising industry as hard as he expected, as the agency reported a 7.5 per cent drop in like-for-like sales.

The agency, founded by Maurice and Charles Saatchi in 1995, had planned for an organic percentage decline in the double digits this year.
