From Mr Vincent Scheurer.
Sir, It is misleading to describe Second Life as a virtual world entirely "owned by its residents" ("Treasury 'urged' to collect 'virtual revenues'", May 29). While the terms of service allow individual users to retain copyright in the work they create, those same terms state that users may be ejected from Second Life at any time without reason (and without refund), leaving their content behind to be enjoyed by everyone else.
