Hospitals can be in the front line when wars break out. Imagine one where injured patients are rushed in. People crowd in seeking safety from nearby fighting, while staff try to save lives amid possible power cuts, loss of water and danger from flying glass and debris. It may be the most graphic illustration of how wars damage health.
