Mitsubishi Motors said on Friday it was cutting 90 European white-collar staff, repatriating sales and marketing functions to Japan, and relocating its Netherlands-based regional head office in response to the crisis in the car industry.
The Japanese carmaker said it was planning to “implement a new business model” for its European subsidiary, which is currently headquartered in Schiphol near Amsterdam and employs 335 people.
