Domino Printing hurt by consumer caution

Caution in the engineering and building industries has hurt sales of new printing equipment, pushing down profits at Domino Printing Sciences. But the company expressed confidence in its long-term growth potential by raising its interim dividend by 10 per cent.

Domino manufactures coding and labelling equipment used to print bar-codes and best-before dates on consumer products, including food and pharmaceuticals.
