UK charity plea to City high-fliers

Charitable giving among London’s City high-fliers has failed to keep pace with the dramatic growth in earnings in the financial services sector, according to a weighty philanthropy report.

While many banking and finance professionals are receiving news of their latest bonuses, some of the City’s most prominent figures have urged top earners to spend more of their money and time on charitable causes.
