Named after the “father” of modern China who died in 1925, National Sun Yat-sen University is located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan’s second-largest city and biggest manufacturing centre.

Its EMBA was launched in 1998, one year after the pioneer programme at National Taiwan University. But National Sun Yat-sen’s programme holds the distinction of being the first in Taiwan to obtain AACSB certification in 2005.
