Crime cut in age-restriction test scheme

In central Scotland, Stenhousemuir – currently undergoing much-needed redevelopment – is the test bed for a ground-breaking scheme to limit the sale of alcohol in off-licences to over-21-year-olds.

Operating since April, the “Stop the Supply” project has seen calls to police about anti-social behaviour fall by 40 per cent.
