Saudi Arabia urged Barack Obama on Thursday to tackle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict early on in his administration.

Saud al-Feisal, the Saudi foreign minister, told reporters: “The issue of the Middle East is of paramount importance to all the problems in the region.”
