LSE pulls out of LCH.Clearnet bid

The London Stock Exchange has pulled out of a consortium comprising eight banks and inter-dealer broker Icap that is considering a bid for LCH.Clearnet, Europe’s largest independent clearing house.

The withdrawal comes amid signs that the consortium has not yet managed to finalise a bid for LCH.Clearnet, amid disagreements between some members.
