Shares in Lundbeck fall 16%

Shares in Lundbeck, the Danish drug company, fell 16 per cent on Monday after disappointing results from its pivotal experimental treatment for depression.

The company said it was delaying submission for approval with regulators for at least 18-24 months for Lu AA21004, a treatment for major depressive disorder, after three late-stage clinical trials demonstrated little significant impact.
