Computacenter, the UK’s biggest retailer of IT hardware to businesses, is increasingly confident of its full-year outlook after seeing an upturn in its problematic German and French businesses.

The group said that its performance in the UK, which accounts for nearly 60 per cent of total revenues, was below expectations, although figures largely beat analysts’ expectations.
