Business berates Labour on ‘big issues’

Anyone who doubts the degree of business disillusionment with Labour should visit the Institute of Directors’ palatial headquarters on London’s Pall Mall.

The business organisation has long shed the rightwing reputation it once cultivated. Under the reign of Miles Templeman, the IoD has in the last four years moved to match its officially non-partisan political stance with an even-handed approach towards all the main parties.
