Hillary Clinton, US secretary of state, said on Thursday it was time for Nato to make a fresh start with Russia, arguing that the 26-member alliance “can and must find ways to work constructively with Russia where we share areas of common interest.”
Mrs Clinton was speaking at a meeting of Nato foreign ministers in Brussels, where the alliance is expected to agree that it will again hold meetings of the Nato-Russia Council (NRC) at the highest level.
