Ethical boundaries help shape investment

The socially responsible investment market has grown considerably in the past few years and, now valued at €1,000bn in Europe, shows signs of moving closer to the financial and corporate mainstream.

"Across Europe we see signs of robust SRI strategies, increased mandates from institutional players and the growing involvement of more traditional financial services providers such as brokers," says Matt Christensen, executive director of the European Social Investment Forum (Eurosif).
