Glitch forces TSE to halt derivatives trading

The Tokyo Stock Exchange, Asia’s largest bourse, has suffered a further blow to its reputation after a systems glitch on Tuesday forced it to halt trading in all derivatives contracts for about four hours.

It was the second stoppage in futures contracts trading this year after the implementation of a new derivatives trading system in January.
