Cameron lambasts ‘roadblock to reform’

David Cameron dismissed Gordon Brown as a man “stuck in the past” and “a roadblock to reform”.

The Conservative leader, the first to respond to Mr Brown’s hour-long marathon presentation, his 10th, made his maiden Budget response a brief and lively speech notable for jokes at the chancellor’s expense but light on substance.
