HSBC report proves heavy going

HSBC’s annual report has ballooned to such an unwieldy size that the Royal Mail – the UK postal service – has had to limit the number its postmen carry in order to prevent back injuries, according to the bank.

The 454-page tome, which weighs in at 1.47kg, is the product of corporate reporting regulations causing frustration among executives and shareholders.
