Boeing hopes for end to air force deals ban

Boeing’s efforts to put its to put its ethics scandals behind it took a large step forward on Friday as the US air force lifted the suspension on its satellite division that had prevented it from competing for military contracts.

“Boeing has taken the appropriate corrective actions to be counted as a member of our national security government contractor team again,” Peter Teets, acting air force secretary, said on Friday.
