In-house work set to dent lawyers' earnings

Lawyers' hopes of increasing earnings from litigation and arbitration could be dashed by their clients' plans to cut spending on dispute resolution, according to research published today.

As many as 96 per cent of leading litigators questioned by Grant Thornton, the professional services firm, believed fees from dispute resolution would increase or stay the same over the next three years.
