Study hits at graft in water projects

International efforts to confront climate change and global food shortages were being undermined by widespread corruption in provision of ever-scarcer water resources, said a report launched at the United Nations on Wednesday.

The worldwide pattern of graft ranges from New Orleans to New Delhi, according to Transparency International, an organisation that monitors and campaigns against corruption.
