Small steps for the dancers, one great leap for the man in charge

According to the dictionary, Morphoses - the name of the new company founded by the dancer and choreo-grapher Christopher Wheeldon - means "the process of forming; the development or change of form".

And that is precisely what's happening to Wheeldon, the hottest thing in ballet today, who is again transforming his life. At the Royal Ballet, where he was a student in the school before becoming a member of the company, and at New York City Ballet where in the span of some six years he became a soloist and then moved on to concentrate on choreography, Wheeldon has already had an exceptional career.
