Agenda: Springboards for life in careers elsewhere

European students show a canny mix of conservatism and adventure when it comes to choosing employers. Three in 10 intend to leave their country in search of a graduate-level job, the latest survey by Trendence, the research and consultancy business, concludes.

But who are the beneficiaries of their get-up-and-go spirit? Mainly the big-name companies they have long chosen. This is encapsulated by the company that tops the list of the most attractive employers this year: L’Oréal, the cosmetics company headquartered in France – which came first last year too.
