Fund lets retail investors bet on CDS

The first credit derivatives fund aimed at retail investors has been launched, giving individual investors the chance to gain exposure to the potential rewards – and risks – of an investment product that is becoming a core part of markets.

Trade in credit default swaps (CDS) – instruments offering insurance against the default of a borrower – have long been the domain of the large institutional investors and sophisticated fund managers, but a new fund aims to change that.
