Michelle Obama to stress husband’s patriotism

One phrase that Michelle Obama is likely to avoid repeating when she gives her prime-time address in Denver tonight is that she is proud of America for the first time in her adult life.

That remark, made earlier this year, caused a furore, prompting one conservative commentator to threaten to send out what was presumably a metaphorical “lynching party” if she stuck by her words.
