The majority of finance executives in large companies are not satisfied with their finance departments and are not able to spend enough time on shaping the strategic direction of their companies, a survey has found.
The surprising study, conducted by Accenture, the consultancy, highlights the pressures on finance executives as they grapple with the challenges of globalisation, the pressure to automate or outsource mundane tasks, and the changing nature of the role of the finance division.
