Stock sales among Goldman partners are a regular feature during the “windows” of opportunity that open after an earnings announcement, but the increase in selling among Goldman’s partners following the firm’s third and fourth-quarter earnings announcements last year and the first quarter this year was significantly larger than any comparable wave of selling in at least three years.
