Freedom4 internet sale to fund share buyback

Freedom4 Communications, the telecommunications company previously known as Pipex, has proposed paying its shareholders up to £177m ($359m) after agreeing to sell its internet hosting business.

Freedom4 is planning a share buyback after last year’s disposal of its broadband business and on Friday proposing the sale of its internet hosting and network services operations to Oakley, private equity firm.
