Licence fees help boost profits at BTG

Interim profits at BTG leapt nine times as the technology transfer company benefited from one-off licence fees and non-recurring items.

Pre-tax profits for the six months to September rose from £1.7m to £15.2m ($32m) while revenues rose from £20.8m to £47.6m. One-off recurring revenues accounted for £15.1m (£300,000). Net recurring royalty revenues were £12.1m (£12.2m).
