Cobham takes encouragement from order book

Cobham, the defence and aerospace manufacturer, predicted “further progress” in 2009 underpinned by the strength of its order book, which last year increased to £2.7bn.

Allan Cook, chief executive, said the order book provided revenue visibility and was proof that Cobham was winning new business. Order intake last year was £1.66bn, up 40 per cent.
