Harare blames retailers for price inflation

Zimbabwe’s central bank governor blamed shopkeepers on Thursday for the nation’s runaway prices.

Gideon Gono was speaking hours after introducing a Z$100m (US$50, €39, £34) dollar note in a desperate attempt to contain hyperinflation, which is running at an annual rate of at least 231m per cent.
