Non-domiciled residents George Osborne, shadow chancellor, on Wednesday promised an end to stealth taxes and chaotic tax reforms, committing a Conservative government to a radical reform of the way complex tax changes are introduced.
Mr Osborne claims the Treasury’s clumsy handling of reforms to non-domicile taxation and capital gains tax in recent months has proved the case for much more thorough consultation.
